Visit Kauai’s Princeville Botanical Gardens

If you’re into lush foliage, exotic flowers, unusual fruit trees, beehives, chocolate, and a good time you must visit Kauai’s Princeville Botanical Gardens.  Friends of mine, Bill and Lucinda, have created over 8 acres of Paradise and have opened up their property for tours. During these educational tours you’ll be treated to raw cacao, gourmet chocolate, honey, seasonal fruit samplings from the land, and a delightful guided walk through the gardens. You’ll learn about native Hawaiian flora, tropical medicinals, sacred flowers, and food plants.

Princeville Botanical Gardens is just outside of the Princeville Resort Community, a 5 minute drive from Honu Point. Trip Advisor ranks it #2 out of 25 things to do in Princeville. You won’t be disappointed. Give them a call at (808) 634-5505 or check out their website at  There you may enjoy a video where Bill and Lucinda tell about their passion for this project.
