An Intimate Kauai Picnic – Callahan Creative Co.
Given the difficulty in getting a Kauai restaurant reservation these days, why not plan an intimate Kauai picnic instead? This unusual idea was conceived by Sabrina of Callahan Creative Co. during the last year when Kauai was closed to visitors. She incoorporated her past experiences in the tourist and property management businesses in conceptualizing this alternative to a typical dining experience. Whether in your backyard, in a meadow, or in the comfort of your vacation rental, Sabrina can either provide the perfect setting for your picnic with food to match, or simply drop off one of her charcuterie and grazing boards for your enjoyment.
I had the pleasure of meeting Sabrina recently. She is full of life, and her passion for this new, creative outlet shows. I asked her to write a paragraph about her new business:
“Aloha, This is me! So happy and grateful to do what I love. Honored that you are taking a few moments to read my story. My name is Sabrina and I own and operate Callahan Creative Co., a small luxury events company on the island of Kauai. I specialize in intimate events and picnics; also charcuterie and grazing boards of all kinds. I am born and raised on Kauai and believe in supporting as many small business and farmers as possible; going to far as having a 100% all local product grazing board that’s called the “Local Boy”, in addition to my traditional charcuterie boards which have my own special flair. The option to have a private picnic in the comfort of your vacation rental means I do all the work and you get to kick back, relax, and enjoy family and friends. I pride myself on special touches and attention to detail. Allow me to add a wonderful memory to your vacation. If a simple private picnic, or a more elaborate version with a private lei making class, or live Hawaiian music, is something you desire, I’m happy to coordinate everything. Or, if you would like a charcuterie or grazing board waiting for you upon your arrival or delivered for a special occasion, again I’m your gal. I’m truly honored and grateful in advance. Looking forward to greeting you.”
